		<description>Nice write up. Without knowing the architecture in detail I wonder if you could look at parallel programming to target multi cores. You still might have a limit on throughput in terms of SQL inserts but the uncompressing and business logic side of things may be improved by using language features to target seperate cores....just a thought!</description>
