About Ross Cooney
Ross Cooney is the Managing Director and was one of the founding members of Rozmic.
Ross has been at the forefront of spam and virus research for more than a decade. Working in partnership with some of the industry greats such as Trend Micro, Command Antivirus, Sophos and Beginfinite.
Ross has particular expertise in Linux software development and has given a number of seminars in the UK and US to some of the top software development companies. Ross is a regular visitor and speaker at the annual Novel Brainshare events and Advisor Summit shows.
Ross runs the Gateshead & Newcastle-upon-Tyne Amazon Web Service user group and has a keen interest in cloud computing.
He has been nominated by the Irish Internet Association for a Net Visionary Award in the Internet Entrepreneur category and listed as a business “role model” by the Discover Your Potential campaign in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Ross is a keen supporter of the Newcastle Falcons rugby team and a ridiculously bad snowboarder and wakeboarder.
