For those of you interested in hearsay, V3 Media and Evo Data both companies were aware of the situation from day 1, personally I would host my site with anyone who has no connection with the Alexanders, it's a tangled web and I'd rather deal with a company who has no skeletons.

I'm not sure whether it is accurate, although there does appear to be a new address for Jane, based in the Stafford area for anyone who needs to make contact.

Jane Alexander has moved down to work in Stafford, previously a member of BNI Kendal and Assistant Director there she has left Kendal owning many people money and with her business reputation severly damaged. She has set up with BNI in Staffordshre and Shropshire working as an Assistant director there, under Marcos Clowes as Area Director. Interestingly I discovered that people in BNI in Staffordshire believe that she sold her “sucessful” internet company and do not know it went into liquidation, or about the 2nd attempt that failed. She is busy dispensing business networking advice under the reputation of a sucessful business woman. Marcos Clowes knows about the whole situation but is happy for the people in Staffordshire BNI to remain unaware as Mrs Jane Alexander is not only his business partner and asministrator but also his bed partner, an item those who they are working with are also kept in the dark about. They have been together for about 16 months now. His son is 18 months this week. His poartner left in March 2009 when she found out about the affair. Perhaps if Mrs. Alexander had been concentrating on running Chrome internets acounts properly rather than spending the businesses money on overnight stays in hotels with her lover “on business” then the company might have stood a better chance of surviving. To give her credit Jane Alexander did not know until January 2009 that Marcos Clowes had a girlfriend and baby at home, because he lied about that too and she was never invited to visit. Hi Adam, OK, good point regarding the entrepreneurial standards in Cumbria…it's a big place and David and Jane Alexander are not representitive of the norm.

Hi Lucinda,
I would seriously consider moving your hosting to another company. I have personal experience with five companies who have been left 'high and dry' by David and Jane Alexander. The comments on this blog post will detail other companies who feel that they have been badly treated too. I would not risk my websites with them if I was you.
David and Jane have shown themselves as incapable of paying suppliers and communicating with anybody.

are you saying that anyone still having their website hosted by D. Alexander will come across problems.. ? I pay monthly for this service – should I be concerned ?? I cannot afford to let my website go down for even a day !!

Ross, I firstly have to comment on your statement about Cumbria…

Although I agree with you on almost every point within this blog, you can’t throw around statements like that, I think it would be closer to state ‘entrepreneurial standards are not high in the new media sector.’ But that would be unfair too!

That said, thank you for making the effort in creating this blog to help others that are reeling from the painful, costly and massively problematic effects. It sounds like many people have been hurt or are still hurting from the chaos that the Alexanders have created (or at best allowed to happen), and any forum that helps people understand, rectify and move forward should be welcomed, embraced and championed.

I knew this couple ‘mainly David’ many years ago, a business relationship which didn’t end well either. So I unfortunately know about his business values and ethics only too well, but I refuse to turn this entry into a personal attack…

Although I do share all your pain (I know from personal ‘Crome’ experience) you also need to learn form this and get your sites sorted with professional web companies. Most of all ensure you agree to have control of your domain, a personal backup of the site and up-to-date spec sheet at all times. Insist this with your new provider. You only have yourselves to blame if you hand over too much power and control to a third party and things go wrong.

I for one will be having a drink tonight to celebrate the fact, that after all these years I wasn’t wrong about David, you guys have proved that to me, and I thank you. In return, all I can do is to urge you to see the positive from all this… obviously after you’ve put out all the fire first!. This kind of thing need only happen to you once, so protect yourselves and move forward with greater confidence than ever before.

I know the Alexanders will be reading these entries and either taking it in and becoming better people, or sticking their blinkers on and blaming everybody else… I hope it’s not the later for their sake, Karma is a good thing if your a good person.
