Technical presentations on how to use AWS EC2
February 21, 2008 – 4:51 pmI am a keen supporter of cloud computing and working on a few projects (including Emailcloud.com). I have picked up a few tricks over the past twelve months and I setup the AWSUG.com to pass on some of the these.
People always tell me that they find the AWS instructions very hard to follow…so I recored the following two presentaitons. These are rather technical presentations, but, because they are videos you can watch them as often as you like.
Presentation 1:
I show you how to setup your AWS account, setup your PC and then launch your first EC2 instance:

Presentation 2:
I show you how to make changes to your instance, save it and then create a custom EC2 image:

I hope these are useful.

Cheers Connor. The presentations need to be updated now due to the release of flexible addresses, availability zones, larger instances and the ability to launch multiple instances at one time.
As for rugby, i am more of a Newcastle Falcons fan
